Why ToleranceTech.Org?

Growing diversity. Global economy. Cultural awareness. Technology savvy. These are phrases we have grown accustomed to hearing when speaking of the importance of preparing students for future leadership. However, all too frequently absent in the conversation is how future leaders will grapple with issues often too uncomfortable to confront. From stereotyping, name-calling, and bullying to sexual orientation, race, class, poverty, and religion, teachers must guide students in challenging dialogue to identify, understand, and abolish walls of separation.
